  • 3D Modeling

    For a familiar representation of common objects in a 3D environment, modeling is employed to give a rich hand-crafted likeness that would otherwise be too cumbersome to generate procedurally.

  • Graphic Design / Image Manipulation

    User interface elements such as buttons, backgrounds, layout design, etc. are crucial to a good user experience.

  • C++ Programming

    The engine is written in C++ and utilizes many of the latest C++14 and C++17 features

  • Artificial Intelligence

    The A.I. driven creatures that inhabit the world are a core driver of replayability and un-scripted behavior. These creatures will have the same agency as the player, being able to interact with the world and each other in many ways.

  • Genetic Algorithms

    Many different types of genetic algorithms will be employed to create diverse and ever-changing vegetation, animals, and even tools.

  • Graphics Programming

    HLSL is used to create shader programs that run on the GPU, allowing different materials and geometries to be rendered on screen. This field also covers the optimization and memory management involved with pushing 60 frames per second to the user.

  • Game Development

    All aspects of game development are exercised in this project, these include: art, animation, engine programming, quality assurance, design, marketing / PR.

  • Marketing / PR

    This project needs passionate people. More importantly it needs people that can find passionate people.

    Ambient and thematic music adds a layer of depth to the user experience that is essential.
